(Almost) daily architectural musings and imagery from New York City
It looks vaguely familiar to the new developments going up in the Elephant & Castle in London. Both signal a possible shift of economically poor and run down areas, within close proximity to the city centers, as possible sites of "sustainable regeneration." Is the Bronx ready for gentrification?? Very curious to see how the building's design and physical structure will hold up in the community in the next 10, 20 or even 50 years.
