Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy

This is a "stop-motion tour of Castiglion-Fiorentino, Italy, where [Brandon Vento, an environmental design student at Texas A&M], and fellow study abroad students created proposals to revitalize a piazza in the medieval city; the video includes time-lapse views of students at work and images of their design proposals."

This is also where I spent a semester in early 1995 in KSU's study abroad program. The memory floodgates have opened.

  1. flooding memories coming back indeed! 2002 in Cast. Fno. was a great year...the Euro was just introduced, so the exchange rate was better. wine was 3.50 a bottle, hearty helpings of handmade pasta from the Santa Chiara kitchen made it feel like home, and a beer at Regiro's sounds great right now. a better place to experience tuscany would be hard to find!
