To quench your architecture lecture fix, the Graham Foundation has posted videos of their Spring 2005 Programs on their site, available in both Windows Media and QuickTime formats. As far as I know this is a first for the Foundation and given that I only made it to one lecture this season (Annette Ferrara's), there's plenty to keep me busy for a while.

I think that's a valid question. There are a lot of architects in the Chicago area and the world at large with something interesting to say... Why is it always the same people?
And someone like Gunnie Harboe... McClier put one of their people on the restoration foundation at UNity Temple. They then submitted a $200k proposal to "study" restoring the temple. Was this in the best interest on the foundation? They could have hired an architect and done all of the lab work they wanted for less.
Again, there are 30 people in Chicago who are well-qualified and capabel of doing this type of work.
It's funny how life sometimes, in some circles, is like the high school popularity contest!
