Postopolis! Wraps

Yesterday was the last day of Postopolis! at the Storefront for Art and Architecture, the day I participated in the Blogger Open House and showed why I have a blog and not, say, a podcast or more speaking engagements. Nerves, lack of preparation, and fumbling Q&A response aside (you can see for yourself here whenever it's posted), it was a fun event, and one that appears to legitimize the undertaking of this and other architecture-related blogs.* Also it was great to finally meet Geoff, Bryan, and John Jourden.

Postopolis!

The after-party was a cool scene, with good music, free beer, and a crowd that spilled onto the sidewalk, as well it should have.

*Other participants in the Open House were George Agnew, Alec Appelbaum, Abe Burmeister, Ryan McClain, Miss Representation, Enrique Gualberto Ramirez, and Chad Smith.

  3. Well, I did just come to say that I posted a link and part of a book review you did (for a book I like) at my site -- credit given of course. But now I'm depressed. You have now, officially made me feel VERY boring. Stuck in Washington. No fun after parties. No beer around... But it looks like a good time anyway. Cool that someone's having fun with architecture.
