The Lighthouse in Glasgow, Scotland by Honeyman & Keppie, attributed to Charles Rennie Mackintosh, who apprenticed in the firm at the time. 1. I love Mackintosh! I visited the Lighthouse with two friends when we studied abroad and even managed to climb that staircase (so afraid of heights!) I'm so glad they saved that building and turned it into a wonderful museum about him.
    great blog!

  2. Mackintosh didn't design this particular staircase. It was added during the conversion to the Lighthouse by Page & Park.
